Hey!
Swim PE was terrible yesterday. I totally couldn't do the front crawl, so I joined the Beginners. Haha. Pretty embarrassing, but I got over it. (: Joining Beginners is rather slack; we're dismissed early, and we get to bathe first. Guess what? Siti's there too. I still remember swimming in our primary school days. And I got to know this other person whose name is Hope!
Then after school, HuayNing came over to AC and we played volleyball. Tomorrow's the tryouts and I really do hope I get in. I'm pretty nervous about it, even my palms are sweating now when I'm typing. ): We left school at about 6pm and ate dinner together at Jurong East's Kobayashi. Loved the time spent with them. (: Was quite tired when I got home so I went straight to bed. About 9 + pm. Amazingly, I'm still very tired today despite sleeping so many hours, as compared to others. And I didn't touch any homework. Haha.
Today's a very cold day. The wind's chilling. And I didn't bring my jacket. So I was practically freezing in every lecture and tutorial. Thank goodness Shelvi brought hers. The lesson that passes the fastest is of course Literature. Had so much fun that time flew. And the Maths lecturer let us off 20 mins earlier cause she heard the wrong bell. Haha.
Oh, before I forget, HAPPY BIRTHDAY sis!
After school, I went back to Commonwealth to watch the SYF dance. Met Hazel at Jurong East and we went together. They are very good I guess! Ding Hong's choreography is nice! I personally feel it's nicer than the previous SYF. (: Saw Clara sweetheart and many other juniors. Didn't really talk to them though, cause we left quite early. Haha. Catched up with Hazel alot though; talking about our respective schools, combinations and stuff. (: Hope to see you soon girl!
Shall go off now. Getting abit tired though its still considerably early. Haha. Bye people!

Just got reminded of this old christian song I learnt when I was young; 'This Is the Day that the Lord Has Made'. (: Haha. Cause darr was not well and didn't have time for me, I spent the day with my dearest family and friends. Its kind of fruitful, especially when I haven't been spending much time with them recently.
There's supposed to be an OG outing today, but I didn't join them. Had to get my swim wear by today cause there's swim PE tomorrow. Ya, great. So met the girls at Jurong Point, and the four of us went Pizza Hut to eat lunch; a treat from ting ting, since she got her scholarship money. Ate Hawaiian Lover's and Cheese Lover's. Then we walked around trying to find a presentable swimsuit. I couldn't find any in particular that I liked, so I didn't buy any. Ting and Shelvi bought the same one. Haha. And 2 people commented on my bear earrings today! I made the earrings myself; bought the materials from a shop in Chinatown. A waitress at Pizza Hut and another sales person from Sports Link said it was nice. (:
My designer pizza. (:
Spot my bear earrings!
HuayNing & me.
After walking around for bout an hour or 2, I went home and joined my family for dinner. Went back to Jurong Point to eat Crystal Jade for dinner. Its to celebrate my sister's birthday on 30th. Crystal Jade's renovated and its super crowded, as usual. Had to wait for quite some time before we got a table. Ate lamien. I don't quite like lamien, it doesn't taste as nice as other western restaurants. Haha.
Went home after dinner and played Dota with my brother. Too bad its kind of laggy for him so played only an hour. And there's school again tomorrow! I've not yet started on my maths tutorial. ): There's still loads of assignments coming in. Boohoo.

Yes, work, work & work. Its kinda getting busy these few days. I used to think first 3 months are for slacking, but I'm absolutely wrong. Well, perhaps it is easy to escape if you didn't do your work, but it'll be hard to catch up. Unlike secondary school where everything is so simple; you just need to read the notes, attempt some questions, check answers given and viola! But JC's just so different. Perhaps it's due to the lectures. Cause they just go on and on, whereas in secondary school, the teachers keep checking whether the class is following the lesson and repeats to make lesson clearer.
My maths tutorial teacher is so freaking funny! Not exactly humourous, but he laughs at his own jokes which is really very comical. He's quite old already, teaching since the 1970s. And my class rep. thinks the teacher is in love with me for no particular reason. Haha.
Next week's the volleyball tryouts. I so badly want to get in. ): Just pray and leave the rest to God I guess.
Going to darr's house now! Poor boy hasn't been eating much. ): Bye people!

That's my class. (: Though I didn't really mix around in my class that much, I think my classmates are pretty nice. Haha. Main reason for not mixing around is that Shelvi is in the same class as me! One thing I don't like about by class is that dar's not there. ): School's been the same, except tutorials start this week. I've became kind of busy, trying to keep up with school work and stuff despite seniors telling us to slack off during the first 3 months. Yes, I am trying to do homework. (: Our classes don't end early but there are quite some breaks between. So during these breaks we just sit around, eat, chat, and ya. Haha. I'm glad Shelvi is there, at least there's someone close enough to chat to during these breaks.
And we have swim PE. Shucks.
It starts next week. Ain't looking forward to it.
Celebrated Jeffrey's birthday on Sunday. And played pool. Quite fun if you don't play too often and if there's people who'll let you win. Haha. Went to eat dinner at Johnson's Duck near Ian's house. And a Tiramisu cake which is quite nice actually. (: And dar played basketball with my brother and some other people.
I miss dar. ): He didn't go school today though I met him after school. Poor boy. Get well soon! And our timetables are quite different. Won't get to see him that often anymore.
Literature's the most fun lesson of all! Today we analysed this poem by E.E. Cummings. Its really interesting so take a look:

Instead of going school, I went for orientation at CSS today. Haha. Today the Secondary Ones were arranged in classes and not their orientation groups. Lucky though! Its hard to handle that bunch of people. So we played some games, cheered and did the friendship dance. The Secondary Ones are really immature! They seem like those little kids who are really afraid of being in contact with a member of the opposite gender. And they are 13 years old! So I ended up dancing without a partner for most times during the friendship dance. And I don't want to scare them off by grabbing their hands. Haha. The most fun part of today was the games the peer leaders played within ourselves! Real fun. We are like still very high despite many were very tired after staying over in school. Would like to play like this some other time. (: And we took photos!
View of Pandan Reservoir from the school. Pretty!
The 3 of us, without Huayning. Where did she go?! ):
Okay! This time the 4 of us. Besties!
Shelvi & me.
Spastic! Darr & me.
Shall go sleep now. Need to go ACJC tomorrow morning to watch darr play bball! (: Then still have to go work. Gosh, I'll be so tired. And Spirited Away is now showing on Channel U! One of my favourite shows. If you haven't watched it, which is highly impossible, go watch it! (:

Its a happy day! I've found my wallet. Whee! (: Real glad cause I don't need to spend money replacing the IC and buying a new wallet. Though I'll probably buy another wallet soon. Haha. Yay. I prayed really hard yesterday, and true enough, God answered my prayers. I knew He would. I didn't thought anyone was so kindhearted enough to return my wallet, much less to say with everything intact. The anonymous person left it in my letter box. I'm so thankful such people exist! It makes the world a much nicer place to live in.
Went back to CSS for Secondary One orientation today. I felt that they were kind of deprived, cause the orientation was a rather simple one, no games and even no orientation tee-shirt. Nevertheless, it was fun but tiring teaching them cheers and trying to get them participate. I was grouped up with Ting and darr. Our group's name was Spirited, meaning lively, energetic and happy. But apparently some people interpreted it wrongly and thought it meant 'spirits'. Haha. I thought of the group name! It was supposed to be a Commonwealthian value.
Anyways, I realised the Secondary One guys are getting more and more immature each year. They are shrinking too. I saw some really small sized kids that look really cute, but are probably monstrous to handle. My group was quite okay, except for a few playful guys and real quiet girls. Pretty hard settle them down and get them to listen, but that's all. (: It makes me feel that teachers are actually very noble. Haha. Didn't stay over at school though, cause darr said we should be taking turns to patrol round certain areas and that isn't any fun. So decided to go home and here I am! Blogging. Should get some sleep already though. Getting late and I'm exhuasted. Bye! There's still school tomorrow. And I've got assignments untouched. Boohoo.

Hi people! I'm finally here to blog. Been really busy these days, reaching home quite late and of course, dead tired. Anyways, here are some of the photos:
Okay. That's all of the photos.
ACJC is fun! Actually its not really hectic, but recently darr and me had been busy searching for a PSP! We've been visiting Chinatown for about 4 days in a row. Haha. We're sharing it. And we finally bought it today. Ceramic White colour, cost us about $340. The functions are very good; besides playing games, watching videos and listening to music, users are able to access the internet! Just like a laptop. I've tried it, its exactly the same as any computer or laptop. Just that the on screen keyboard may need some time to get used to. Buying a PSP is really quite confusing cause there are so many different versions offered and you don't really know which to buy.
And guess what? I lost my wallet yesterday. Yes, again! Oh freak. I really shouldn't be so careless anymore in the future. My Pierre Cardin wallet! Plus my IC too. $100 gone to replace just the IC. Shall work more to earn back another wallet and replace those lost items. ): Amazingly, this time I didn't cry! Realised it only this morning and got no idea exactly where I dropped it. Most probably on a bus, 243G. Rats.
Volleyball today was less tiring than the first training. But there are quite some people who backed out from the CCA, and also new people who joined today. We ran only 2 rounds around the track and the drills don't seem as tiring as last week's. Darr went into the basketball team. He was selected! Didn't watch his selection tryouts, but shall watch him train this Saturday! (:
Going to Commonwealth Secondary tomorrow to help out with the Secondary Ones orientation. I think this year's orientation isn't as properly planned. Most things are kind of last minute, even the batch dance, which we only learnt last week. Well, hope tomorrow's going to be fine, and no scoldings cause the people who went back today to help out got scold by Mdm Rose for their untidy attire and other stuff.
PSP! It looks so pretty in white. (: Goodnights people!

There's something really wrong with blogger. I can't edit my html when creating posts. So, my photos will be posted up sometime later. I got my OG group photo! (: My OGLs gave them in IKEA photo frames as a present. Real sweet.
This week of school was very busy. Introductory lectures, deciding on which subjects to take and also the CCA. Well, I skipped rather alot of introductory lectures, slacking around at the void deck or at the library. But in the end i decided to take H2 Chemistry, H2 Mathematics, H1 English Literature, H1 General Paper, Project Work, H1 Chinese Language and.. H2 Biology. Yes, its kind of crazy to start Biology so late. So I'm trying to catch up by reading the 'O' levels materials now! Abit confused here and there, but I got the help of my 2 besties. (: As for Literature, the first lecture today was very interesting. Besides the teachers made the lesson fun for us. I'm also looking forward to studying the Literature texts. As for Math, today's lecture was pretty boring. Was nodding off constantly cause the teacher was quite boring. Chemistry was confusing and GP lecture was only an introduction to writing essays.
This week I was also late for school once! On Wednesday. Of course, also dragging darr down with me. Cause we travel to school together. We were asked to go for detention class but in the end the teacher in charge of DC lets the J1s off cause its our 'first time'. Wasted our time waiting for DC to start. But unlike Commonwealth, their DC is to only grab a seat and do your homework quietly. So in a sense its quite helpful accademically.
Also, I attended the first Volleyball training session! Its pretty fun. But I think the coach is kind of strict and expect alot from people joining the CCA. For example, I think we are supposed to run 6 rounds around the track, 2.4km, as warm up. For the first training, it was only 2 rounds. Phew! Then we have to do drills, then the actual training starts. Well, there is still selection cause its competitive volleyball. 17 people will be choosen only. If I don't get in.. I'm not sure what I will join. Maybe dance? Or something related to sports.
Its been a fun week so far and next week is going to be full of lectures. In addition, I'll also be helping out at Commonwealth's Secondary One's orientation on thursday and friday. Learnt part of the mass dance today back in the secondary school. Busy busy. Also looking forward to volleyball trainings coming wednesday! I've also been spending loads of money on food. Have to cut down! Darr and me are like eating at expensive places alternate days. Swensens on last thurs and Billy Bombers today. Shall go broke at this rate. Haha. Its a rather cold day so I'm going off to bed early! Bye people, and take care. (:

FAERIES. :D
Well, thats the name of my orientation group. For the past four days of school, we had orientation. The Commonwealthians are mostly separated into different groups but some landed up in the same OG. Unfortunately, that didn't occur for me. However, after these four days, the 17 of us had became friends despite coming from different secondary schools and totally not knowing each other before. Not to forget the 2 OGLs! Aileen and Bryan. Awesome & huh? (:
I must admit that the first day of orientation was quite a bore. Being strangers to each other, our group was real silent. But we gradually warmed up to each other the next few days. (: Through this orientation, we are able to witness the strong ACJC school spirit through all the loud cheerings during the mass rallies. Especially the OGLs who shouted till their voices were hoarse and yet they are still as enthusiastic as ever. We've made new friends, got ourselves burnt and dirty. One thing I really dislike about the orientation though, is the mud. Its freaking disgusting. I'm glad I stayed out of the mud games. The mass dances were nice too, but kinda hard to remember. And the campfire night (yesterday night) was crazy. Dancing and dancing, forming those really long human chain lines and of course, cheering again.
We went to our OGL, Bryan's house yesterday during OG time. His house is really big. Played games there and ate pizza. Had fun! And on our way there, there's this drunken guy (I presume) who said "Hi sweetheart." to me! Its freaking scary. And i could smell the stench of alchohol from his breath. Terrible.
We also had the CCA exhibitions yesterday. I've signed up for Volleyball, Choir, Dance, Strategic Games (they play bridge) and Christian Fellowship. (: These are not confirmed yet though. There's still tryouts and auditions.
Anyways, its going to be the introductory lectures next week! Really looking forward to them. Its kinda weird coming out from my mouth right? (: How can I being looking forward to studying? Hmm. I'm not sure whether I'll be staying on in ACJC after PAE though. Cause the discipline's quite strict and Ting and Shelvi may not be staying on. The fate lies on my results though!
I'm seriously pissed off yesterday night. Even if I'm being childish and petty, I don't deserve such a treatment. Perhaps if you were some mafia leader or something, I could have excused you. If you are going to be this violent, this rude, then forget it.

Happy New Year! Time flies and its now another new year. This year was truly an eventful year; I've learnt many new things, made many decisions which I haven't regretted so far, and also realised those important people who have always stood by me. I'm glad you guys exist. I've also gotten alot closer to my family and God. Including Hope! (:
I've lost some good friends, but come to think of it, I've learnt much more in the process. And I'm satisfied. I'm happy. Perhaps things could be changed initially but now I rather it stay this way. So, good luck to you! I wish you all the best, sincerely and from the bottom of my heart. (: God bless.
To darr, happy 4th month! You weren't the greatest boyf and I aren't the greatest girlf, so we make the greatest couple!

To Ting, Huay Ning and Shelvi, I hope we'll never grow apart. You three are the bestest friends anyone could have. Thanks for cheering me up when I'm down, thanks for supporting me all the way and also thanks for all the crappy things we talk about. Love ya people.
And also Fiona! We've sat together for how many years? 2 and a half i guess. (: You know me inside out. Thanks loads for helping me those countless times in schoolwork and everything else. We've known each other from Primary 1? So its err, 10 years already. I'm glad to have you as a friend for so long.
There are also many people whom I'm not really close with, but they too brightened up my days in school, and I'll miss you guys for sure.
After all the thanksgiving, I've gotta make some new year resolutions!
-To be tidy. No more stacks of notes flying around, no more missing cases of worksheets.
-To study!!
-Learn a third language and to be able to converse fluently in that particular language.
-To never drift away from my 3 dearest friends!
-Save money. And keep my phone bill in checked.
-Be myself. And not to try fitting into cliques when I'm totally different.
-Stop being a crybaby! To smile, smile and smile.
-Hmm. What else? To be a good daughter, a good friend, and a good girlf!
And lastly, to love the people around me.
